Textured acrylic on panel 48¨ tall x 36¨ wide | $900
I admit it, I’ve been infected by the “going green” buzz. “Junk Drawer” demonstrates my greenness. I have been exploring texture and incorporating recycled material to my work (often refereed to up-cycling). Mostly because my art budget is limited. And why lie “It’s Fun”. I found this frame in a garage sale. The frame was previously an old cracked mirror. I created a texture base on an old piece of masonite board that I found in my garage (this acted as the canvas). I added mixed media material that I found in my junk drawer, hence the title “Junk Drawer”. Material such as bolts, nuts, screws, used sandpaper, tire cap, etc. With all the “Going Green” buzz I decided to paint it monochromatic green. After many adjustments “Junk Drawer” was created.
Junk Drawer is currently on display in my living room. I’m open to negotiation on this piece. If you’re interested in it make me an offer. Contact Me.
