One summer day it began raining. I had previously checked the weather and there was no mention of rain. It was strange, one side of the street was covered with water and the other was dry. I was curious what the Bible said about rain, so I looked it up. It eventually brought me to Isaiah 18:4. The phrase “cloud of dew in the heat of harvest” intrigued me. Here is the verse:
This is what the LORD says to me: “I will remain quiet and will look on from my dwelling place, like shimmering heat in the sunshine, like a cloud of dew in the heat of harvest.” – Isaiah 18:4
